As the President and CEO of Pelatron Power Evolution, LLC, Mr. McClellan leads the development of the patented Solena gasification and vitrification waste to energy systems in the State of Hawaii. Pelatron Power Evolution is also charged with developing Solena system applications with Alaskan Native Corporations, Native American Tribal Entities, and with the U.S. Department of Defense. Mr. McClellan also manages government relations, community building, and external finance for the Pelatron family of companies. Prior to his work with Pelatron, Kekoa was the Chief of Staff to Councilmember Stanley Chang, ran an independent political consulting and management firm, and worked as a commercial banking officer at Central Pacific Bank. Mr. McClellan has served on numerous community boards including The March of Dimes and Hawaii Maoli, and he is currently a director at One Hawaii In Action (OHIA) a newly minted Native Hawaiian think tank founded by Senator Daniel K. Akaka. Kekoa is a graduate of The Kamehameha Schools, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hawaii Pacific University, and is currently a member of the 19th Executive MBA cohort at the Shidler College of Business.
