Indigenous Māori entrepreneur, facilitator and Board member
Shay is passionate about linking together entrepreneurship, indigenous development, community economics and international trade. In his former role as Head of Māori Development at The Icehouse, Shay led the development of training programmes for indigenous enterprise leaders. More than 400 Māori business leaders have participated in these programmes, covering innovation, strategy, governance and management.
Shay has helped a number of organisations shape their strategies, including not for profits, Government organizations, start up businesses, and indigenous enterprises. He has also been part of New Zealand trade delegations to APEC International forum, the NZ-US Partnership Forum, and to Japan.
