CEO – Athabasca Basin Development
Geoff Gay has worked for the Athabasca region since 1998. As CEO of Athabasca Basin Development, he is responsible for evaluating new opportunities and monitoring existing investments/operations, and under his leadership, the company has grown to include complete or partial ownership in twelve companies providing a wide range of services. Athabasca Basin Development, an aboriginal-owned investment company, has appeared in the Top 100 Saskatchewan Companies list, won the inaugural Skookum Jim award by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, and was recognized as the 2014 Business of the Year by SaskBusiness Magazine. In addition to his duties as CEO, Geoff sits on numerous boards, including the Elizabeth Falls Hydro and the Hatchet Lake Development Corp Board. Geoff has a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University with a major in Management, and recently achieved his Directors Education Program (DEP) designation through the Institute of Chartered Directors (ICD).
